Life becomes a vast stretchWith complete emptinessNo flowers on the road to the future, only fearWe only repent deeds done prior. The heart, soul, and mindFind sorrow to no endMisery, terror, and fear come flooding backThe path to the future finds no bend. ‘But life isn’t like that,’Some divine force says,‘This is not the only road –There are many ways.’ Realization and decision materializeCourage produces immense gainPleasure, laughter, and expectations dawnAs life becomes bearable once again.
