I Like to Dance | Poetry August 8, 2024 / 1 Comment I like to danceIn the spotlight of moonlightWith the sky decorated with snow. The fireflies create the melodyAnd the wind starts to blow.My shadow holds me by the waistAs I try to go with the flow.It pulls me closerI smile shyly, oh! Passion lights up in my eyesAnd I dance slowly.A pinch of self-love,As I begin to glowWith just another couple of smiles. And my will to growIs enough to vanquish all self-doubtAs I sit back and enjoy the show.
